Operated by Air Union. The Br.280T was a refined development of the Br.26T, an airliner using the wings, tail surfaces and undercarriage of the well-known Br.19 reconnaissance bomber. Two crew and six passengers could normally be carried. F-AIVU crashed at Lympne on 17 January 1931. On the left is the tail of Br.280T c/n 4, see photo 888945. 'Tenth anniversary of the Paris - London line' - all aircraft here operated by Air Union, which called its London service 'The Golden Ray / Le Rayon d'Or'. The Blériot in the centre is flanked by two LéO 21s, F-AIFE and F-AIZO. Air Union preferred the LéO and only two Blériot 165/175 aircraft were built. See photo of Breguet 280T F-AIVU for the other planes. Photo from: Bibliothèque nationale de France - Gallica
