This lovely helicopter is operating out of Den Helder for the time being. They were doing a flight along the Waddeneilanden and turned South abeam Groningen. Naturally, ATC arranged a fly-by, but unfortunately I made a wrong gamble concerning my position vs the actual flight path of the helicopter. Resulting in a backlit photo... Nevertheless a superb visitor!

One of only 2 examples flying in the country. They are operated by Zelf Vliegen, to train future pilots for Transavia (hence the green colors). This aircraft suffered a gear collapse when vacating the runway at Lelystad on June 18, 2020. Repairs were done in Italy and the aircraft returned to Lelystad in February 2021.

The entire fleet of Dutch registered Gabriels in 1 photo. The aircraft are operated by Zelf Vliegen, who train future Transavia pilots (hence the livery). As the days are getting longer, night time hours are getting scarce. Both aircraft made the most of it with a long navigation flight over the country and ending up at Eelde for the weekend. Mobile stairs were the solution to get an elevated point of view, to capture both aircraft in 1 photo. You'll notice the slight livery differences between both aircraft, this is because the -TRZ had to undergo repairs after a landing mishap last year. On June 28 2022 PH-TRC crashed into the Zwarte Meer lake in The Netherlands. Sadly both occupants did not survive.

Operating a medevac flight from Bulgaria.

This 744 was delivered to KLM in April 1993 and is pictured being turned around at Schiphol prior to another departure. It flew its whole commercial life with the airline but was eventually retired in March 2020 at stored at Amsterdam (AMS). In August 2020 it was ferried to Mojave (MHV) for, most probably, a date with the axeman.

This Fokker 70 was originally delivered to British Midland in May 1995, transferring over to bmi in February 2001. It then went to KLM Cityhopper in October 2002 and flew with the airline until October 2017, when it was ferried to Norwich (NWI) for storage. In February 2018 it joined Wayperú as OB-2156-p and is still current with the airline.
