Sometimes referred to as the Pitcairn-Larsen PA-39. Seven of these 1941-built autogyros were ordered by the UK's Fleet Air Arm for observation duties. Three were lost when their cargo ship was torpedoed. Two reached the UK. BW830 was retained for tests in the USA and is now the sole survivor.

The Monocoupe 110 Special was designed in 1931 as a 'cut down' racing aircraft. Wing span reduced from 32 feet to 23 feet. The 125 hp Warner Scarab gave a top speed of 220 mph. This example is preserved in the EAA AirVenture Museum.
