Delivered to the RAF in 1972 and serving only until 1983 when she was placed into storage. After the Buccaneer was retired from RAF service, XW544 was dismantled and ended up at a scrapyard before being rescued and ending up at Bruntingthorpe where her systems have been replaced/renewed with a view towards making her taxiable.
