This aircraft was destroyed on 1st August 1982 during 14 hours of non-stop bombing of Beirut by Israelis as a reprisal for the shooting by PLO terrorists of the Israeli Ambassador to the UK. Six MEA Boeing 707s and 720s were destroyed. This photo was added on 28 July 2017, and has since been viewed 435 times. |
