This Workhorse was delivered to the USAF on 13th June, 1955 and served until retirement in 1970, whereupon it was transferred to the National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program and placed at Offutt AFB in the original SAC Museum. When the new building was opened at Ashland (and the museum renamed to SAC & Aerospace Museum) it moved across and is now on display hanging from the roof. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
