The nose section is all that is left of this Falklands War veteran. Entering service with the RAF in 1961 as a bomber serving with 100 Sqd, it was converted to tanker in 1970 and served with 55 Sqd. When with 57 Sqd it supported both Black Buck and Sea Harrier operations in the South Atlantic. Struck off charge in 1986, the nose was salvaged by the Victor Association in 1994 and displayed at the museum.
