First flown on 26 September 1963 as a Comet srs4C. The Comet was delivered to the Aeroplane & Armament Experimental Establishment (A&AEE) on 2 December 1963 and was, among other missions, used as navigational system trials aircraft and nick-named Canopus. , del 02dec63. Assigned to the DTEO Boscombe Down from June 1995 anbd eventually withdrawn from use in March 1997. First stored at Bruntingthorpe, became to G-CPDA on 10 August 2000, but remained stored at Bruntingthrorpe. The registration was cancelled in 2008. Current status?
