Ready for duty on the pad at Bear Valley Helitak Base, located on the west side of California Highway 25. This Helitak Base is now closed after amalgamation with Hollister Fire Attack Base some 30 miles to the north along 25, the Airline Highway. Carries the titles "Bear Valley Helitak" above its cabin and the operating number "406". Originally 69-15865 of the US Army.
