It was a fun day, with constantly changing weather conditions, that 21 June 1990. Besides four Luftwaffe Phantoms, it also saw the arrival of seven EG F-15s of the 56th TFW, a 10th MAS Sherpa, a Portuguease C-130, two Dutch F-16s, and locally based 32nd TFS Eagles and 334sq F27s. This F-4F (FMS 72-1213) flew first on 18 Dec'74, was delivered to the Luftwaffe 29 Jan'75 and was sadly scrapped at Jever, after 33 years of military service by June 2008.
