Ex N447PA, to TMA in June 1977. On 17th June 1979 the aircraft was flying between Bangkok and Taipei when it sustained substantial damage in a mid-air collision at FL115 with a F-5 fighter of the Republic of China Air Force. The F-5 ripped off part of the Boeing's vertical stabiliser, causing the structure to lift, and the rear pressure bulkhead to fail. The freighter landed safely, but the F-5 crashed. Repaired, wfu around 2003, stored at Beirut and broken up This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
