Built for the Soviet Air Force as CCCP-11976 in 1963. To Aeroflot in 1981 then to Balkan as LZ-BAE in 1988, Vega as LZ-VEF in 2004, Lao Air as RDPL-34156 in 2007 and to JSC Air Company as UP-AN216 in 2009. Destroyed in a fatal crash near Barangay Laput, Mexico, Philippines due to an in-flight fire in 2010.
