Last operated by 602 Sqdn from Abbotsinch, retired to 48MU at Harwarden in November 1953 and allocated maintenance serial 7200M in April 1955. To gate guard duties at RAF Cardington by 1961 and to the Colerne Museum collection in June 1964. Displayed at Abingdon for the 1968 Royal Review and, since the closure of Colerne in 1975, has been displayed at various locations including Cosford, Benson and Hendon. The aircraft has also undergone substantial restoration and is displayed at the RAF Museum at Hendon at time of upload. This photo was added on 7 October 2025, and has since been viewed 9 times. |
