Delivered new to Malaysian Airlines System as 9M-MBM. Then to CIT Leasing and leased to Aviateca as N125GU in December 1993. On August 9, 1995 the aircraft on flight GUG901 (routing Miami-Guatemala City-San Salvador-Managua-San Jose) crashed into the San Vicente Volcano, 24 kilometers Northeast of San Salvador at an altitude of 1800 meters.
