This section is probably the largest remaining part of F-BVFD, which was broken up for parts at CDG in 1994, having already been out of service for twelve years by that time. Air France had more Concordes than it needed, after shutting down its Paris-Dakar service with the type. "Fox Delta" had previously undergone repairs after a heavy landing at Dakar in November 1977.
