This Spitfire has an interesting history. After its service with the RAF as MH415, it first went to the Netherlands East Indies Air Force as H-108 (later reserialled to H-65). The aircraft went back to the Netherlands after Indonesia became independent. The Spitfire was then sold to Belgium as SM40. After its military service it flew first in the USA, and then in Australia. In 2020, the aircraft came back to Europe.
