The Islander AL.1 was built in built 1988 and underwent testing with the registration G-BOMD. It was elivered to the Army Air Corps in March 1990 saw service in Northern Ireland, the Balkans and during the Gulf War of 1991. From July 2010 it was stored at RAF Shawbury then transported to the MoAF by road in November 2015. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
