GN85 was sold in the US in 1963 and became N6160U. The c/n used here is from Geoff Goodall's Warbird Directory and matches Joe Baugher's USAF serials From this point the history of this aircraft is confusing. Geoff says this is N151DM. Others claim N151DM is c/n 111-36533 which Geoff does not even include among surviving P-51s. GN85 later saw service with the Salvadoran air force before returning to the US as an unserviceable airframe in 1974. It has since been rebuilt twice.
