became VT-MGD with ModiLuft - returned in 1996 and went to Aloha as N818AL. ModiLuft was one of India's first post-deregulation airline, launched in May 1993 by the Indian industrialist S K Modi, in technical partnership with the German flag carrier Lufthansa.
