Delivered to the Ansett group in Queensland Air Lines livery in April 1966. A few months later, QAL ceased to exist as a separate entity within the Ansett group and VH-FNN was repainted in Ansett-ANA's livery in November. In May 1968 the aircraft was permanently transferred in Ansett-MAL in Papua New Guinea. The same basic livery but with MAL replacing ANA in the titles.
