Before the Aral gas station at the Alkenrather Strasse in Leverkusen was taken over by Esso, German gas company Aral ran the station and had this An-2 painted in their company colours. The sign in German "Der grösste Doppeldecker der Welt" says the An-2 is the largest biplane in the world.
