Delivered to the Cuban AF in 1982 as 14-01 and transferred to Cubana in 1988, initially marked as ''CUT-1401". Corrected to CU-T1401 by 1993 and continued in operation by the Cuban AF. Painted in the livery of the military airline Aerogaviota by 1995, revised in 1996. Reregistered CU-T1228 with Cubana in 2002 and modified as a weather research aircraft by Aerogaviota at Havana in August 2007.
