Rolled out at Downsview, ON 10 June 1968 and first flown 16 August, this Twin Otter was delivered to the Argentine Army's Batallón de Aviación de Ejército 601 30 August as AE-100. Reserialled AE-106 during 1970, it was transferred to the Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales as AE-257 in 1983. Returned to BAE 601 as AE-100 in the late 1980s and once again re-serialled AE-106. Taken out of service in 2008 and stored pending restoration to airworthy condition. ully overhauled and upgraded, and rolled out at Area de Material Quilmes, Buenos Aires 24 April 2015.
