The Tu-95MS version of the Tu-95 is the last version built for service with the Soviet Union and Russian strategic forces. It is able to carry cruise missiles and went into production in 1981. Msn 42105 is the first protoype of the Tu-95MS, deconverted from a Tu-142MK and is seen here at the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino, where it arrived in August 1992, the year after the dissolvement of the Soviet Union.
