Mercy Health Life Flight has provided helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) to Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan since 1979. It operates three Leonardo AW109E Powers and added its first Leonardo AW119Kx, N78LF, to its fleet in March 2024. The HEMS service has a heliport and hangar in downtown Toledo the Mercy Health — St. Vincent Medical Center and helicopter bases to the east at Sandusky County Regional Airport (S24) and to the west at Fulton County Airport (KUSE) in Wauseon, Ohio.
