Built 1972, transferred to Sakha-Avia in 1995 and Sir AERO by the time of this shot. To Avial in 2006, Kosmos in 2012 then SibNIA, operated on the Russian experimental register as '11130'. In March 2015 on a flight from Kupol to Krasnoyarsk with a cargo of 9,000kg of doré bars (gold/silver alloy) worth about $55m, the cargo shifted rearward during take-off from Yakutsk and ripped off part of the ramp so that many bars fell out. About 3,400kg of bars were recovered from the around the runway. Stored at Krasnoyarsk-Cheremshanka, now preserved at Antoshka Park, Kemerovo This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
