An original Bückers-built Bü-181B-1 was acquired by Sweden during WW II to serve as a test and pattern aircraft for license construction by Hägglunds. Ex D-EXWB, it was delivered via Warnemünde and Bulltofta on 29 June 1942, and was first allocated serial 25001. This later changed to 25000, as the license built aircraft were 25001-25120. The type was designated Sk25 with the Swedish Air Force. In 1954, with 943 hours, it was retired.
