Acquired by the museum in 1987, this former Polish Air Force MiG-15bis (Lim-2), their serial 25, has been put on display to commemorate an event during the Cold War, when a Soviet MiG-15 shot down a Swedish intelligence gathering Tp79, 79001 (C-47), the wreck of which is also on display. The MiG-15 was previously falsely marked as 24 yellow. This photo is copyright © Wim Sonneveld, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
