This Boeing 767 was delivered to the Bahrain Royal Flight in January 2009 and is pictured on very short final for rw27R. This particular frame is quite interesting as it was planned to be the prototype for the multi-role E-10 MC2A program, intended to replace the E-3 Sentry, E-8 Joint STARS, the E-4B and the RC-135 Rivet Joint aircraft in US military service. However, the program was continually scaled back and eventually cancelled at the end of (financial year) 2007. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
