Delivered to Frontier Airlines May 4, 1982, N9802F had a short lease to BWIA International Airways (June - November 1985). Frontier was acquired by PEOPLExpress in October 1985 and was operated separately until it ceased flying in August 1986. Continental Airlines bought PEOPLExpress in October and most of Frontier's aircraft were merged into Continental's fleet. This aircraft was re-registered N35888 in 1991. Stored at Goodyear, AZ in 2001 , it was leased as PK-LMP to Lion Air (2003 - 04) and Wings Abadi Nusantara (as Wings Air 2004 - 14).
