Struck off the Australian register in 1959. It was left to become derelict until the 1970s when the remains were acquired for a rebuild. The parts changed hands several times until they were taken to the UK. The registration G-HACA has been allocated to the rebuild. The registration reflects its original Australian registration of VH-ACA when the aircraft was owned by Richard Casey, later Lord Casey and the governor-general of Australia. Casey was an enthusiastic pilot whose private airstrip at Berwick, Victoria, became a centre for vintage aviation.
