One of 26 HA-1112s purchased by Spitfire Productions for use in the filming of the 1969 epic "Battle of Britain", modifications being made to improve their visual representation of Messerschmitt Bf109Es of the 1940 period. Built for the Spanish AF at Seville in 1959, after the filming it was shipped to Texas where it flew briefly as N9938 before being grounded in 1971.
