Another recent repaint at Newark has benefitted this two-seater Jaguar. XX829 flew for the first time in November 1974 and was allocated to 54 Sqdn in December of the same year. It served with other notable Jaguar units including 6 Sqdn, 226 OCU and 16(R) Sqdn before being retired to storage at RAF Shawbury in March 2001.
