This Javelin had a short service life following delivery in January 1960 to 85 Sqdn before being stored with 27 MU at RAF Shawbury in March 1963. In February 1964 it had maintenance serial 7829M allocated for use by 2 SoTT at RAF Cosford before joining the Newark collection in 1981.
