The B-57B was the most produced model of Martin's Canberra with 403 built, featuring a tandem cockpit and rotary bomb door. This one went into service c.1955 by the 345th TBG, Langley AFB but by March 1966 was deployed by the 405th TFW, Clark AFB, Philippines, for missions over Vietnam. In 1967 it transferred to 8th BS, 35th TFW at Clark, soon moving to Phan Rang, Vietnam for night intruder work. After storage from 1969 at MASDC, in 1972 it was converted to EB-57B and based at Malmstrom (MT ANG) and Burlington (VT ANG). Preserved at Tyndall AFB from 1981, moving to Barksdale and then Eglin This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
