1912 Blackburn Monoplane, maintained in flying condition by the Shuttleworth Collection. It had no "registration" and was allocated BAPC.5 after the British Aircraft Preservation Council was formed in 1967 but this was not worn. In 1981 the CAA insisted on all Shuttleworth aircraft having UK civil registrations and the unused "period" registration G-AANI (originally allocated to a Desoutter that was not built) was re-allocated in October 1981. Current in 2024. This photo is copyright © Terry Dann, and may not be used or published in any way without permission. It was added on 30 November 2024, and has since been viewed 85 times. |
