In Jan. 1991 during Operation Desert Storm, Capt. Paul Johnson flew this Warthog on an eight-hour rescue support mission, for which he was awarded the Air Force Cross. One year later this aircraft was retired and placed on display at the National Museum of the USAF. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
