A flyable Meteor painted as A77-851 which was an F.8 named 'Halestorm' that shot down a MiG-15 during the Korean War. That was later converted to a U.21A and scrapped although the nose was preserved. VH-MBX was flying with the Temora Aviation Museum until at least 2018 and is in fact ex VZ467 which was the last Meteor F.8 in RAF service (till 1982 as a target tug), named 'Winston' This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
