VH-DEJ fitted with underwing hoppers. The Cessna 180 was widely used in Australia for agricultural flying after safety concerns pushed out the Tiger Moths that had been the mainstay of the industry. The arrival of specially designed aircraft such as the Piper Pawnee, then relegated 180s to less risky roles.
