Climbing away from Runway 30 at Prestwick, en route home from Cherbourg and the 80th Anniversary D-Day commemorations in Normandy, as RCH123. Carries the markings of the 136 AW, Texas Air National Guard, based at Fort Worth. In addition to special Invasion Stripes for the occasion, it sports the authentic "chalked-on" name "The Howdy Hooligan", the large identifier "A7" and, aft, a now partially obscured cartoon of an excited parachutist "YEEHAH" This photo is copyright © David A.
