This Tiger Moth has an interesting history: built in Australia for a Netherlands East Indies order and civil registered PK-VVT. Shipped out of the NEI and loaned to the RAAF in 1942. Allocated RAAF serial A17-624 and taken on charge 7 March 1942 at 1 EFTS, Parafield. Sold post-war, becoming VH-AMH(2) on 26 July 1951. Withdrawn in January 1965, but restored as VH-TIG on 10 April 1968. This photo is copyright © Phil Vabre, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
