First flight at Renton 5th March 1968, and del. to American Flyers Airline as N12826 April 1st 1968. In May 1971 Icelnadair TF-FIA named "Solfaxi", as their 2nd B727-100QC. in 1976 TF-FIA was repainted to the new Flugfelag Islands livery. October 1979 the new Icelandair ("Flugleidir") was after the merger between Flugfelag Islands and Loftleidir, and rr to TF-FLG. In 1982 TF-FLG was repainted to the new Icelandair livery, with new name "Heimfari". 31st October 1989 sold to UPS and converted for cargo.
