On final approach to Runway 31 at Prestwick, arriving as RCH312. Carrying home base tailband "Bragg Pope", referring to both the Fort Bragg garrison and Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina, in anticipation of a forthcoming merger. In March 2011, Pope AFB was formally realigned with Fort Bragg, being absorbed as Pope Field under Army control. Preserved on static display in its final Arkansas ANG markings at the Arkansas Air and Military Museum. Drake Field, Fayetteville, Arkansas. This photo is copyright © David A.
