This is the prototype Tutor and carried the civil registration CF-LTW-X during its test flying time. It differed from the production airframes mainly by the use of a Pratt & Whitney JT12A engine instead of the Orenda built J85 engine. After retirement it was donated to the RCAF for display and acquired these 'Golden Centenaire' markings, serial and code. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
