The Mi-14 is amphibious like the Sea King. Poland received twelve Mi-14PL anti-submarine warfare and five Mi-14PS rescue helicopters, this one in February 1984. In flight inland near Kutno on 10 May 1987 a map was blown out of the cockpit. Since it was classified, the crew initiated a landing to pick it up, but stalled the helo which was damaged beyond repair.
