This Islander was N63JA with Stol Air from 1977, who changed their name to Westair Commuter Airlines in 1978. Local Vancouver airline Bute Air acquired it in 1980. After the airline shut down in 1995, the aircraft spent a year each with Viller's Air Service, Labrador Travel Air and Lockhart Air Services before acquired by the Grand Bend Sport Parachuting Center 1998 - 2007.
