Assigned to Royal Aircraft Establishment, Bedford. Delivered to the RAF as a Canberra B2 in 1955. Modified with B6 wings, engines and nose in 1968/9 and used as a research aircraft. Sold to Classic Aviation Projects, Coventry as G-BVWC in 1994. Grounded after an engine failure in 2007. To Vulcan to the Sky Trust, Doncaster as G-CTTS in 2016 for restoration.
