10 Apr 1953: TOS USAF as B-47E. 3/54: 43rd Bombardment Wing, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. 5/56: 96th Bomb Wing, Altus AFB, OK. 12/57: 380th Bomb Wing, Plattsburg AFB, NY. 8/61: 96th Bomb Wing, now based at Dyess AFB, TX. 1/53: Converted to WB-47E. 5/63: 55th Weather Squadron, McClellan AFB, CA. 3/66: 53rd Weather Squadron, Hunter AFB, GA. 6/66: Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico. 7/66: SOC and ferried to the New England Air Museum, Bradley Airport, Windsor Locks, CT. 3 Oct 1979: Damaged when a tornado struck the airport.
