First flew 18 Nov.1966, delivered 21 Dec.1966. It had been on detachment at Pisa, Italy for Falcon free-fall parachute training at Ampugnano. It was destroyed when it suffered an engine failure on take-off from Ampugnano on 26 March 1972, causing a wing-tip to strike the ground and the fuselage to break open on impact, with a fire starting immediately. Of the 23 persons on board, four died from their injuries. This photo is copyright © Mike Cain, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
