'Air views of Kyushu: Nagasaki, etc.' Originally a B-25D-10, this aircraft was at one time converted to a B-25D-1 strafer. Assigned to 498th BS. Salvaged from dump on Biak by Capt Victor Tatelman who installed equipment to detect enemy radar signals. The aircraft flew combat missions during March 1945 from Clark Field and did locate one radar installation. Information from Pacific Wrecks website.
